If you're looking for a great coliving city in the southern United States area, then you may want to check out what Atlanta has to offer. It’s the largest city in the state of Georgia and has more to offer than meets the eye. The city has a rich cultural heritage all of which lay at the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. While downtown has about 550,000 residents the surrounding metro area has nearly 5.5 million and is steadily growing today. With the incredible nightlife and music scene and endless outdoor adventures to be had around the outside of the city, this makes a great stop for digital nomads to call home. If you haven't been to Atlanta before, it may be worth spending some time here as part of your coliving experience.

Atlanta has so much to offer including the botanical gardens and the Georgia aquarium. They are great afternoon activities and is home to Martin Luther King Jr’s house – and this is just the start of the rich culture within the city. If you’re looking into the nightlife, you won’t have to go far, with great bars and clubs for a night out on the town. For a weekend away from the city, it is within driving distance to the Appalachian mountains, where you could find yourself mountain biking, hiking or even camping in the beautiful outdoors.

You won’t need a car if you live here unless you're looking to get outside of the city. Atlanta is home to some of the best transportation in the country, with its subway system and light rail that can take you most places in the city. If you need to get further afield or are not living along with one of these routes then there is a reliable bus system on offer as well. Yes, there are bigger cities in the United States, but there is not a bigger airport. Atlanta International Airport is the busiest airport in the entire world and is the main hub for Delta Airlines, with flights to Europe, South America and Asia departing daily to get you wherever you need to go.
